Terms & Conditions
Last updated: July 2026
1. Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using studywine.ai ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use the Service.
2. Description of service
studywine.ai is an independent wine-tasting study companion that provides guided tasting exercises, AI-generated feedback, flashcards, and progress tracking. The Service is intended for educational purposes only and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET), the Court of Master Sommeliers (CMS), or the Institute of Masters of Wine (MW).
3. Accounts
You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account.
4. Subscriptions & billing
Paid plans (Sommelier and Master) are billed on a recurring basis through Stripe until you cancel. A 7-day free trial may be offered; after the trial ends, your selected plan is charged. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time from your account or via the billing portal. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Service, attempt to reverse-engineer it, scrape content, or use it for any unlawful purpose. AI-generated feedback is advisory in nature and should not be relied upon as professional wine certification advice.
6. Intellectual property
The Service, its design, and its content are owned by studywine.ai. Your tasting notes and personal content remain yours; you grant us a limited licence to process them to provide the Service.
7. Limitation of liability
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, studywine.ai is not liable for any indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the Service.
8. Changes to terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
